Scandals FC declared Futsal Champions


Scandals Futsal were declared Futsal First Division champions after the MFA Control and Disciplinary Board awarded them a 2-0 win over European Pilot Academy.

The final of the Futsal First Division Championship Play-Offs between Scandals Futsal and European Pilot Academy which was played on April 24 was abandoned by the two referees following incidents caused by a few Serbian fans which were present at the Corradino Pavilion. With Scandals leading 6-4 with around seven minutes to go, the few Serbian supporters ignited flares and then invaded the pitch.

With clouds of smoke still suffocating the Corradino Pavilion, the two referees had option other than to abandon the game.
