Liverpool Daily PostTranmere Futsal - Sheffield FC 4-1TRANMERE Futsal produced an impressive performance beating Sheffield FC 4-1 at Chester’s Northgate Arena.
The win keeps Tranmere at the top of the FA National Futsal League North Division, having won all six of their opening games.
Tranmere started the game confidently against a competent Sheffield, before Johann Sestre opened the scoring for Tranmere.
Tranmere began the second half strongly and after hitting the woodwork twice Jay Corran scored three goals within the space of three minutes to put the game firmly out of reach of Sheffield.
Sheffield pulled one back but never looked like posing a threat and the match finished 4-1.
Tranmere’s next home game is against Manchester at 1.30pm, Sunday June 15 at Chester’s Northgate Arena. Admission is £2 for adults and free for Children (under 18).
