The covered pavilion was almost full to capacity and included Theophilus Trim, Sports Director and Clayton Morris, head coach of the National Futsal team, among the invited guest.
Despite the limited number of teams, the standard of football was of a high quality and there were plenty of exciting, thrills and goals for the spectators' enjoyment.
In the final, Coaching School and Signal Hill Comprehensive battled to a goalless draw with the youthful secondary school players holding their own against their more illustrious and experienced opponents. However, in the ensuing penalty shoot-out, their nerves failed them and they went down 5-3. Signal Hill collected $1000 for their second place, while third placed Coaching School C received $800 and fourth placed Lambeau collected $500.
Kyle Nicols and Jerome Tannis won the awards for the Most Outstanding Goalkeeper and Best Defender, respectively and collected a DVD Player each courtesy Digicel, while Trevin Caesar was voted Most Outstanding Player.
