ABC - Radio AustraliaElliott Ragomo, a new Solo talentWed Jun 11, 2008Solomon Islands are dominating the indoor tournament, due in large part to a little known teenager, now playing for a club-side in Spain.
The Oceania Football Confederation's Steve Holloway says Elliott Ragomo is a major discovery.
"They are a real joy to watch, the crowd loves them, there is a university across the road full of Solomon Islands students so they pack in the Suva arena every night," Holloway said.
"The real crowd pleaser, the number three for Solomon Islands is named Elliott Ragomo, who has got all the skills.
"He reminds us of Benjamin Totori, the Solomon Island international who now plays in the United States.
"Very quick, good step-overs plays as an international in Spain and is only 17 or 18 years old.
"Good touch, good speed, he plays in Spain at the moment but has a bright future and is not yet well known but a name to watch.
"The rest of the Solomon Islands team are a joy to watch and the crowd keeps coming back night after night."
