Platon forces Athina '90 to the third match

Platon has tied the series to 1-1 with an almost perfect performance on Monday night, overwhelming Athina '90 6-3. The home team bounced back from their defeat last week and managed to get the win they needed to send the series to a third game. Platon scored two early goals with Mostrios and Argiris while Athina '90 scored with Iliadis to send the two teams with a one goal difference in halftime. The guests tried to come back in the second half but Platon was too good to fall and scored another goal with the MVP Argiris. The youngster Megremis tallied a goal to bring the game to close distance before Argiris scored the decisive 4-2 with a personal goal. Troulitakis sealed the comfortable lead 5-2 with a goal to cap off his own great performance. Argiris and Megremis scored one each to close off the game with Platon celebrating a crucial win. Pappas and Argiris were among the best for the home team while Athina '90 had Megremis and Mpousmpouras in good form. The game was attended by a full capacity "Olympion Arena" with crowds from both teams. The final game is now set for Monday the 23rd with everyone's attention on that day. One week later the two teams will also compete for the Greek Cup in the event in which futsal will celebrate Dimitri Nicolaou's day.
