Solomon Islands Football's Eddie Ngava says the futsal side won through in fine style.
"It was great news for the country and everyone is just so excited about it," Ngava said.
"Thousands of people went up to meet them at the airport and yeah it is wonderful news, everyone is thinking, how good are these kids, so we are going to present them tomorrow.
Solomon Islands beat Oceania Football Confederation newcomers Tuvalu 12-nil in their final game of the qualifying tournament in Fiji.
