Halifax CourierTigers take a look at LiamFormer junior footballer in Halifax has been making his mark in East Yorkshire - bringing him to the attention of Premiership new boys Hull City in the process.
Ten-year-old Liam Borla-Tridon, a former Whitehill School pupil and under nine player with Boothtown, has had his best season yet.
Having just signed contract papers with the Tigers, Borla-Tridon helped his Sunday league team, Hull Futsal Vikings, to the National U10's Futsal title at the FA Umbro Futsal Festival in Sheffield.
The team also won their league with an enviable record of 17 victories and one draw while scoring 100 goals and conceding only four.
They also won the Hull Boys five a side competition and all local tournaments they entered.
Out of 77 schools in his area, Borla-Tridon has also been nominated and won a sports achievement award from the school Sports Partnership that he was due to collect at an awards ceremony this week.
