Argentina move into semis, wait for Brazil


Argentina won 3-0 over Venezuela in third round at Copa America of Futsal 2008 held in Uruguay to win Group A, and will face Brazil in semifinals; in addition, they also qualified for next Futsal World Cup to be held in Brazil.

The winners of Groups A and B and the two top teams in Group C will play the semifinals and got a ticket for next Futsal World Cup too; the event will be held at Rio de Janeiro as from September 30.

Next semifinals games: Brazil vs Argentina, Uruguay vs Paraguay.

Meanwhile, Colombia vs Peru will play fifth-spot game, Bolivia vs Ecuador will go for the seventh spot, and Venezuela vs Chile will go for the ninth spot.
