Young footballer captains county at championships

A CROSSLEY Primary School pupil has been selected to represent his county at the Junior National Futsal Championships 2008.
Jamie Etheridge captained the Futsal Yorkshire Academy Under 10 team that represented the West Riding County FA at the event which took place in Sheffield on Saturday.

Not only was Jamie captain, but he was also the youngest member of his team in the championships playing one year out of his age group.

Crossley Street Primary School is delighted at his success and will be cheering him on all the way.

Futsal is a type of indoor five-a-side football.
