Belles shoot down Owls

The girls of Brayton Belles U10s did themselves proud by reaching the semi-finals of a national competition playing a form of football with which they were unfamiliar.

Asked to represent the East Riding FA at the FA Umbro Futsal Festival in Sheffield, they picked up the notable scalp of Sheffield Wednesday on the way before being put out by Sheffield United Academy, who were able to choose from the best players in the area as a Centre of Excellence.

Team manager Jon Risebrow and club representative Ashley Heeley were extremely proud of the girls who also took the opportunity of posing with the FA Cup.
