Carnival a huge success

A carnival was organised by ntv7, in conjunction with the Euro 2008, at Mont Kiara Sunrise recently.

The carnival offered fun-filled football related activities and games for the public. The events included a futsal tournament, fashion show, football trivia quizzes, face painting, dance performance and more.

The tournament received overwhelming support from the crowd as they cheered on the futsal players, who were battling it out to win the lucrative prizes.

The teams that competed in the tournament included members of the media and ntv7's clients, such as The Star, Utusan, BP Helious, Gading Kreatif, Alliance Finance, I Perintis, ING, Great Eastern, Mofaz Blues FC, Hazland Indoor FC, IBM Malaysia, Smart, Media Ikon, A Sports Arena, Syarikat Hasanul and Total Sports Asia.

Smart became the futsal champions when they defeated A Sports Arena 4-1. Third was Hazland Indoor FC after a 4-2 win over Alliance Finance.

Ntv7 and TV3 personalities - Jasmine Abu Bakar, Zaiti Zubir, Rosmanizam Dali, Raelene Renai Mattu, Chan Wei Wei, Nor Azean Abdul Karim and Hasfiza Aswati - also sashayed down the catwalk with colourful and trendy Puma sportswear.
