MILWAUKEE WAVE IMPROVE TO 6-0 IN 2002-03 MISL STANDINGS

The Milwaukee Wave posted back-to-back victories on Oct. 25, 27 respectively, to improve their unbeaten mark in the 2002-03 Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) standings to 6-0.
The Wave handed the defending MISL champion Philadelphia Kixx (4-2) a 19:5 defeat on Oct. 25, in Milwaukee. The Wave then traveled to face the Dallas Sidekicks (2-4) two days later and stunned the host with a 10:9 win.

In contrast, The Baltimore Blast (2-4) suffered two consecutive losses at home as they dropped a 17:12 decision to the Kansas City Comets (1-4) on Oct. 25, and then lost 9:8 to the Harrisburg Heat (2-2) the next day.

In other MISL action, the host Cleveland Force (3-2) posted a 15:4 win over the San Diego Sockers (2-4) on Oct. 25, while the following day the Kixx got back on the winning track with a 18:10 victory over the visiting Comets.
Next round of MISL regular season matches will feature the Baltimore Blast visiting the Philadelphia Kixx on Nov. 2. Also on Nov. 2nd, the San Diego Sockers host the Kansas City Comets, while the Harrisburg Heat greet the Dallas Sidekicks. Rounding out the weekend matches on Nov. 3, will be the Cleveland Force traveling to face the Milwaukee Wave, while the Harrisburg Heat host the Philadelphia Kixx.

U.S. FUTSAL NATIONAL TEAM PLAYER POOL IN MISL ACTION ON OCT. 25-27.
Baltimore Blast - Forward Danny Kelly (0 caps) scored a goal, while teammate Lee Tschantret (6 goals, 12 caps) added two assists in the 17:12 loss to Kansas City on Oct. 25. Goalkeeper Scott Hileman (1 cap) had 17 saves, while defender Sean Bowers (5 goals, 23 caps) made two saves as the sixth-attacker in the loss. Tschantret had a goal an assist, while Hileman made 21 saves in the 9:8 loss to Harrisburg on Oct. 26. ... Cleveland Force - Defender John Ball (6 caps) notched a hat-trick and added an assist in the 15:4 win over San Diego on Oct. 25. ... Harrisburg Heat - Defender Chris Morman (1 goal, 1 cap) had a tally, while netminder Doug Petras (9 caps) made 13 saves in the 9:8 victory over Baltimore on Oct. 26. ... Kansas City Comets - Forward Nino DaSilva (0 caps) scored twice and dished out two assists, while teammate Nate Houser (0 caps) had a hat-trick in the 17:12 win over Baltimore on Oct. 25.
