Last June 25th, the futsal family lost the soccer and futsal referee Jean-Louis Goyette from Jonquière-Québec. Founder of the Quebec Futsal Association and Futsal-FIFA referee committee for the Quebec Soccer Federation. He fought during the last years against cancer.

Since 1995, he established many futsal tournaments and leagues all around the Province of Québec. He was also involved with the wellknown International Sand Soccer tournament in Virginia Beach-USA, bringing teams from Canada and also as a referee.
