Sina.com futsal event concludes

The Futsal Challenge for Chelsea, organized by Sina.com, has recently concluded in Guangzhou, Guangdong province.

It was an event held in conjunction with the English Premiership giant's China visit last week, when it staged brilliant soccer shows for local fans with 4-0 and 7-0 wins over domestic league clubs Guangzhou Pharmaceutical and Chengdu Blades, respectively.

Sina.com is also the organizer of Chelsea's Chinese-language official website.

Seventy-two teams participated in the futsal tournament.

Chelsea has seen its popularity increase in China since Barcelona and Manchester United visited last year. Chelsea hopes to follow in the steps of those clubs to take a share of the huge market in China.
