The AFC.com AFC team to visit Shiraz 30 July 2008SHIRAZ: A two-member AFC delegation will visit Iran’s Fars province from August 8 to 11 to assess the state of futsal in the province and review grassroots and youth development activities.
AFC Grassroots and Youth Development Officer Dr Shamil Kamil and AFC Coach Education Department’s Ali Targholizade will hold several meetings with the Fars Football Association officials, futsal and grassroots and youth committees.
The AFC representatives will review the activities related to under-11 and under-12 competitions and will also inspect the futsal facilities.
The duo will also attend the inauguration of artificial turf built by Fars Football Association for grassroots and youth development under AFC’s Vision Iran-Project Fars.
