On past tuesday during a meeting between the Argentinian Futsal Committee and the Federal Council was established that the first ever National Tournament will take place on next December (1-8/12/08) in Formosa city, with twelve teams taking place in the event. Six times AFA champion Pinocho is already qualified (as well as the Clausura future winner: if again Pinocho, the best club from the general standing between Apertura and Clausura will take part), as well as two clubs from the host city and eight more teams from the inner leagues that will come out from a preliminary round. All matches will take place in the brand new Estadio Cincuentenario.

Futsalplanet note: let us remind about the basic role of this first national tournament, as all leagues played until today involved clubs from the "capital federal" Buenos Aires.
