The 5th edition of the International Futsal Tournament Cidade do Porto will take place on the 30th and 31st of August in the Rosa Mota Sports Hall of Porto counting on three portuguese and one spanish participants.

This tournament is considered one of the most important pre-season competitions in Portugal and Europe, and has had as previous winners A.R. Freixieiro (Portugal) in 2003, Charleroi Action 21 (Belgium) in 2005, Celta Vigo (Spain) in 2006 and Lobelle de Santiago (Spain) in 2007.

Included in the official program of the tournament, there will also be played the “Porto Ladies Cup” for women’s Futsal teams from the city of Porto, as well as the second edition of “Trophy Adriano Pinto” for kids Futsal teams, that aims to honor the late president of the Porto Football Association, who played an important role in Porto’s futsal development.
