There's no peace for Italian futsal. The national "affair" between the azzurri's selection and the title holder club
Alter Ego Luparense goes on, in the worst possible way as expected.
The last chance to avoid the final "impact" were wasted some days ago, when the management staff of Luparense gave to the three players involved (Nando Grana, Jocimar and Patrick) a second chance to "appear" in San Martino di Lupari in order to start their training sessions for the imminent UEFA Futsal Cup main round (the italian side will take part in the group 2 in Poland). None of them, though, answered to the second Luparense convocation, keeping on working with the Italian national team.
As it's reported in the Luparense web site, it seems now sure that
Jesus Velasco won't select those "guilty" players for the Polish trip, as a sign of respect for the other athletes who are working in San Martino di Lupari since August 8th. Definitely good news for Nova Gliwice, Ekonomac Kragujevac and Nikars, Luparense opponents in Europe. On the other side, in answer to the Luparense press releases, there was no communication from the Divisione Calcio a 5.
