Joao Carlos Barbosa, in futsal also known as Banana, is the new coach of the Kazak futsal champions of Kairat Almaty, replacing Alecio. The top kazakh and european club look for one more title in the national league and to improve their presence in the UEFA Futsal Cup. Banana spent his last seasons in Spain (Gestesa Guadalaja and, recently, Talavera), after having a good career in Brazil (Joinville and Foz Futsal between others).

On the other side, the brazilian Jadder, former Luparense, has left Kairat in order to join the Russian superleague wearing the Spartak Ruza shirt.
