AUSTRIA - FUTSAL NEWS

Successfull FUTSAL DEMONSTRATION in Graz, Austria.

The Slovenian National Team introduced us to the great art that is Futsal. After a training demonstration, three matches were played that yielded the following results:

Slovenia - Steiermark 1 5 : 0
Slovenia - Steiermark 2 4 : 0
Slovenia - Steiermark 3 9 : 0

Afterwards, a mixed team of Slovenian and Austrian players held a match against a team of Slovenian players, who won 3:2.
The game was arbitrated by two Slovenian FIFA referees.

The list of participants for the FUTSAL DEMO TOURNAMENT IN FOHNSDORF is complete.

On October 27th, a meeting with the City of Zurich’s Department of Sports in School was held, in which the course of action for the introduction of Futsal as a regularly held school championship was sketched out.

The main category for our December Tournament is now complete. Amongst the competitors for the Cup are such illustrious names as Futsal Club Dinamic Zelem from Belgium and Tranmere Victoria Liverpool.

The Aargau Canton Amateurs Clubs Championship Final, October 19th 2002, in Schafisheim concluded as follows:
GDC Portuguès, Lenzburg - Nasevelo Optik 3-0

The cup of the same event played as follows:
Fussballschule 90 - Nasevelo Optik 2-0
