The Strykers avenged their one loss in the Guam Football Association Men's Futsal League with a 9-8 win against Quality in the league's championship game last night at the Guam sports complex gym.

The game went into a shootout after being tied 8-8 at the end of regulation. Both teams scored four out five shots in the shoot out, forcing a sudden death round. That's when Strykers Justin Eun stepped up and scored. Quality did not score on their next shot, giving the Strykers the win.

Strykers had lost earlier this season to Quality 7-6, but came up with a win when it counted the most.

In the third place game, Crushers Orange defeated the Yamasa Cobras 7-5.

Mun Abdullah provided the information.
