It was just a matter of goal average. That determined the Argentinian victory in the international tournament Thailand 5's, which started without Ukraine (replaced by the Vietnamese club Thai Son Nam) but was anyway able to entertain Thai and international futsal fans due to the high level of game showed during the event.
Thailand was really close to the greatest result of their history, as the Pulpis' side was leading 2-0 against Argentina, before beeing reached by Maina and Wilhelm (the Marca Trevigiana's player was then sent off): Thai guys have now a reason more to be confident for their imminent World Cup experience (Italy, Portugal, USA and Paraguay their opponents in the first stage). On the other side Sergio Sapo's Japan will have to improve, waiting for Brazil, Russia, Cuba and Solomon Islands challenges.
