The "affair" goes on in Uruguay, but now one thing is sure: the official roster for the Brazilian World Cup. After the Daniel Darino's dismission Uruguayan futsal experienced the absolute chaos as we reported before (click here and here to know more). In the last days before the FIFA deadline (16/9) to communicate the World Cup rosters many players renounced to take part in the event: according to what we can read on the national portal El Show del Futbol Sala this is happening basically for two reasons: in order to take the Darino's defense against the local futsal committee action (which appointed Gustavo Sanchez as new coach) and also for "financial" matters related to the players benefits to take part in the World Cup. Right or wrong this is the final result: just three players from the Copa America tournament (in which Uruguay entered the Brazil 2008 final stage) will travel towards Rio de Janeiro to face Spain, Iran, Libya and Czech Republic.
