FIFA.com Tickets Starting on 17 September, fans across the country will be able to buy their tickets to follow the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2008, which will be played between 30 September and 19 October in the cities of Rio de Janeiro and Brasília.
The first batch of tickets will be sold between September 17 and 23 exclusively via telephone and internet. From 23 September on, the totality of tickets will be available at the ticket offices at the Nilson Nelson hall, in Brasília, and at the Maracanãzinho, in Rio de Janeiro.
The FIFA Futsal World Cup will be the first big international sporting event in Brazil to use the Visa Passfirst system - in which the fans buy their tickets through the internet and insert their own credit cards in the turnstile as they enter the venue so as to print their tickets.
In its sixth edition, futsal's global showpiece has grown and will feature 20 countries instead of 16. Hosts Brazil, winners of the first three world trophies, will struggle to reclaim the world title conquered by Spain in the last two editions. The Seleção debuts in the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2008 against Japan on 30 September, in Brasília.

For every form of purchase, each person is allowed to buy at most five tickets.
