New equipment for Stansbury Futsal Club

Stansbury Futsal Soccer Club has been selected to receive new equipment and materials through the 2008 Telstra Assistance Fund.
The club is one of 1,280 across Australia that will benefit from a share in $1.25 million from the fund this year.

Stansbury Futsal Soccer Club will be provided with essential equipment and materials such as ball pumps, equipment bags, corner flags and goal nets, to enhance games in further competition.

Launched in June, the Telstra Assistance Fund provides equipment to swimming, soccer, rugby league, AFL and surf life saving community clubs.

Telstra Area General Manager, John Tonkin, said the company was proud to continue to support grassroots and community clubs, such as the Futsal Club in Stansbury.

“The fund aims to promote a healthy lifestyle and encourage participation in sport,” Mr Tonkin said.
