 KANSAS CITY WINS THREE IN-A-ROW
Milwaukee Losses First Game Of 2002-03 MISL Season The Kansas City Comets improved to a 4-5 overall record in the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) standings after posting three consecutive road victories from Nov. 6-10.
The Comets opened the road trip with an 18:12 win over the Dallas Sidekicks (2-8) on Nov. 6. Then Kansas City snapped the league-leading Milwaukee Wave's (7-1) undefeated streak with a 9:7 victory on Nov. 8. The Comets made it three in-a-row with a 15:10 win over the host Harrisburg Heat (4-4) on Nov. 10.
The defending MISL champion Philadelphia Kixx, who have the second-best record in the league with a 7-3 mark, earned a split of two games on Nov. 8-9. After posting a 12:5 win over the host Baltimore Blast (2-7) on Nov. 8, the Kixx dropped a heartbreaking 8:6 decision on the road to the Cleveland Force (4-3) the next day.
In other matches, the visiting Blast fell in overtime 14:12 to the Heat on Nov. 9, while the San Diego Sockers (5-4) swept a home-and-home series against the Sidekicks from Nov. 9-10. After winning the first game 15:10 in Dallas on Nov. 9, the Sockers completed the sweep with an 8:4 victory over the visiting Sidekicks in San Diego the following day.
Next round of MISL regular season matches will feature the Milwaukee Wave visiting the Baltimore Blast on Nov. 15. Rounding out the weekend's action will be the Philadelphia Kixx greeting the Cleveland Force on Nov. 16, while the Milwaukee Wave host the San Diego Sockers.

U.S. FUTSAL NATIONAL TEAM PLAYER POOL IN MISL ACTION ON NOV. 6-10 Baltimore Blast - Player/Coach Sean Bowers (5 goals, 23 caps) had a goal, while forward Lee Tschantret (6 goals, 12 caps) added two assists in the 12:5 loss to Philadelphia on Nov. 8. Goalkeeper Scott Hileman (1 cap) had 15 saves in the loss for Baltimore. A hat-trick by forward Giuliano Celenza (0 caps) and tallies by Tschantret and defender Dewan Bader (0 caps) wasn't enough in the 14:12 defeat in overtime to Harrisburg on Nov. 9. Hileman added 13 saves in the defeat. ... Harrisburg Heat - Goalkeeper Doug Petras (9 caps) posted 23 saves in the 14:12 overtime win over Baltimore on Nov. 9. Petras had 30 saves in the 15:10 loss to Kansas City on Nov. 10. ...
