Soccer Brazilian-style comes to town

BRAZILIAN-style indoor football is coming to Malvern over the next few weeks.

Futsal coaching sessions will be held from 5-6pm on Monday evenings at Sport Dyson Perrins, in Yates Hay Road.

The sessions are open to school children in years one, two and three, and are being funded by Malvern Hills District Council.

MHDC leisure services manager Mark Hammond said: “It really is a fantastic sport and great fun to play.

“Supporting children and young people to be healthy and active is one of our top four priorities, and by providing more untraditional sports like this we hope that younger residents will find something they enjoy.”

The seven-week programme costs £7, payable in advance, and sessions begin on Monday, November 3.
