Iran’s futsal to be introduced as Asian best

Iran’s Futsal Committee has been invited to participate in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) ceremony on November 24.

Following a good performance in the 2008 FIFA Futsal World Cup in Brazil, AFC officials want to pay tribute to the Iranian team in the ceremony which takes place in Shanghai, China.

Iran failed to qualify for the quarter-final round on goal difference.

Japan, Thailand and China were other Asian teams which couldn’t advance from their group stages.

Abbas Torabian, the head of Iran’s Futsal Committee, will attend the ceremony
