Baltic Futsal Cup makes it's debut in Ogre


The first ever Baltic Futsal Cup between Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian national men futsal teams will be held in Ogre from December 26-28. Latvia will meet Estonia in a opening match of the tournament that makes it's debut and hope to become a tradition in the future.

BALTIC FUTSAL CUP 2008 schedule:
Matchday1 - December 26: LATVIA - ESTONIA
Matchday2 - December 27: LITHUANIA - ESTONIA
Matchday3 - December 28: LATVIA - LITHUANIA

Latvian National futsal team is on the road to European championship qualifying campaign as the main preparation for Arturs Šketovs team will be these matches against Estonia and Lithuania in Ogre, meanwhile for ECh qualifying round group B tournament Latvia will travel to Bulgaria in January 2009.

Interesting that neighbours Estonia is in the same group with host Bulgaria and Armenia, but only top two teams from the group will qualify for the main round.
