Brazilian signings matching European ambitions

European futsal keep on calling on brazilian players in order to keep their hopes alive. The UEFA Futsal Cup clubs make no exception at all. Two interesting example come from Almaty (Kazakhstan) and Naxcivan (Azerbaijan). The Azeri side Araz could not overcome the impressive power of Russian holders Dinamo Yamal, but their "big" pivot Serjao was definitely one of the best mini-group characters, ending the competition with four goals scored against ACS Odorheiu Secuiesc in the last day match. It was hard to imagine another european experience for him, after some seasons spent in Russia (TTG Java and Spartak) and the last disappointment signings with Carlos Barbosa and Joinville, but Serjao seems to be back!

Well known names also for Kairat Almaty, which keep its massive importation of South American talents. After the technical guide replacement (see our news, click here) in order to re-join the UEFA Futsal Cup Final Four the Almaty side has signed the former Luparense Carlinhos (after leaving Jadder, another ex player of the italian side, to Spartak Ruza) and the brazilian pivot Serginho (many seasons in Spain and Croatia), brother of the Kairat experienced player Cacau. The "brazilianization" goes on!
