UEFA MAYBE SETTING THE PACE FOR FUTSAL
I received an email during the week from one of our school coaches re the frustrations in our sport re not having any goals for players to strive for. In writing an answer it was apparent to me that even though he was right, the sudden surge of action from UEFA, the governing body of soccer in Europe, may be the catalyst the whole Futsal world is looking for. If activities in Europe continue, it will spread throughout the world, and hopefully lift the image of Futsal everywhere.

HUMOUR

Answers to last weeks quiz questions will be in the next newsletter. I’m giving people more time for the referee’s questions.

QUESTION ONE
Which English Premier League club held the first division title during both World War One and Two( when play was suspended) ? And this is definitely the last question involving this club.

QUESTION TWO
Name the Queensland Futsal prodigy just selected in the Australian Joeys Soccer Team( under 20’s) ? His dad is still one of our state and international coaches.

QUESTION THREE
If the referee holds his arm in the air and show his palm with ALL fingers extended to the goalkeeper and bench….what is he saying?

THAT’S ALL FOLKS…..SEE YOU NEXT WEEK
