FUTSAL TOURNAMENTS SET

The Sumter Soccer Club is putting together teams for the Sumter Futsal League 5-a-side indoor soccer tournament in five different age groups.

The tournament will take place at the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club of Sumter gymnasium, and teams will play a minimum of four games.

Players are encouraged to register as part of a team. Each team should consist of between seven and 10 players, and there will be a maximum of eight teams in each age group. The cost is $25 per player.

The tournaments for the 13-15 year-old, 16-19 year-old and 20+ teams is set for Friday and Saturday, and the 7-9 year-old and 10-12 year-old teams is set for Dec. 19-20. Registration will be from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on the first day of each tournament.
