FIXTURES for Monday, December 15:

6.20pm – New Team v Friendly; 7.00 – PYF Samba Kingz v Blue Boys; 7.40 – Laurelbankies v San Marino; 8.20 – Fair City Pumas v Hydro Phoenix; 9.00 – Dundee University v Zenit St Johnstown; 9.40 – Perth Visitors v Dundee City FC.

THE Perth Youth Futsal winter 2008 sessions conclude this evening and will feature a skills coaching session for boys and girls aged three-14 (7-8pm), as well as league cup, penalties and shoot-out competitions for 12-14- year-olds (also 7-8pm) and 15-17-year-olds (8-9pm).

The club have also arranged a series of events in the early part of 2009, ranging from friendly games home and away to an ITV-televised English tournament, tournaments in Italy and Spain in the spring, as well as the usual summer trips, this time featuring U15 and U18 trips to Spain and Cyprus.

The club have also arranged a Sportsman's Dinner for Saturday, March 14, at the Lovat Hotel in Perth, with football legend Frank McAvennie and rugby legend Jonny Petrie amongst the speakers.

There will be a trial/training session for youth players from 6-7pm this evening for players interested in being part of the squads which will be representing PYF in 2009.

All those interested in being selected should attend the session.

The new PYF Spring 2009 season starts in mid-January and applications are now being accepted from teams.

League age groups remain 12-14 and 15-17 years old (based on age as at January 1, 2009).
