David gears up for Futsal debut

DAVID Bryant from Weston has been invited to the national list of referees for Futsal from January.

The Football Association are putting millions of pounds into Futsal which is the five-a-side form of the game. Millions of people around the world play the game with the South Americans only playing this up to the age of 12. Players like Ronaldo and Ronaldinho played this, gaining their skills that can be seen over their careers.

David commented; "Futsal is fast becoming the No 1 small sided game in the UK with the FA putting all its weight behind its development. I am so excited about being part of such a fantastic form of the game; it is so quick and skilful that your concentration and fitness levels need to be high.

"Being promoted to the national list of referees for this discipline will be a real challenge and a massive opportunity for me and I cannot wait for the season to start.
