RIVER CUP 2008
INTERNATIONAL FUTSAL TOURNAMENT IN ATHENS, GREECE

Introduction
We proudly present the international open men tournament of futsal (5 to 5 ) organised by RIVER CAMP, one of the best mini football fields in Athens, Greece ! It will take place the weekend of 20-22 th June of 2008.The tournament is being authorised By the Greek Football Association (EPO) keeping the international rules of the game.
A wonderful chance for futsal, fun and holidays, as June is the best timing for visiting Athens and Aegean beautiful islands (pleasant weather, beautiful spring landscape). The right place ,the right time for the union meeting of futsal lovers all over the world!

Accomodation
Special low prices will be promoted for the accommodation of teams in high class hotels close to Athens centre, close to fields or exactly on the beach! For low budget teams we give the alternative of camping sites close to the fields. The organising authurity will take care of keeping available rooms for the participating teams. The payment should be paid with the arrival to hotel .

Camping NEA KIFISSIA
Low badget teams will find this place very comforting as it;s only 10 minutes to the playing fields.Snack Bar, pool and jacuzzi free provided for guests 8 euro/person and 5/tent for the night.

The games
4 games of 20' minutes each one are guaranteed to be played by all teams ,no matter of results in qualification rounds.16-32 teams(4-8 groups of 4 teams) will compete in qualification round, with all teams coming into play offs till the two finals of Sunday !
Friday evening will be the start ceremony and the first games of the qualification round.

The fields
two artificial grass- open fields will host the games ,with international FIFA superior qualities (42x22,sixth generation fibraments) and all the modern facilities such as high lightning , hot running water in luxurious showers room, 100 m2 cafeteria with all the refreshments and snacks ,grill house with traditional greek kitchen ,everything in a fantastic surrounding with greenery, not far from Athens centre (10 kms)
beginning ceremony ,many happenings and glorious finals will take part during the tournament ,to give joy to all participating teams from the first moment…

Rules of the game
they will follow the international F É FA futsal rules as turned out recently

Admission fee
Registration fee for entry in the tournament is for every team 180 euro. It has to be paid on time through a bank transfer to our account as mentioned. Only after the confirmed payment the team is registered to our tournament. Accommodation and transporting costs should be paid the day of arrival of team in Athens

How to reach the fields
transporting promotion at low cost (buses of 35 seats at price of 90-110 euro per trip depending on distance to fields) will be held from organising team. A welcome person will be in the airport for the teams of the tournament to arrange all the situations.

ATTENTION - APPLIED TEAMS HAVE ALREADY REACHED THE NUMBER OF 32, BUT WE STILL ACCEPT TEAMS TO PARTICIPATE IN TOURNAMENT.
TO CONFIRM HOTEL RESERVATIONS DUE TO SUMMER SEASON THE PAYMENT OF FIRST NIGHT IS REQUIRED.
